Question: Is Barrow-in-Furness safe?

Barrow-in-Furness is the second most dangerous medium-sized town in Cumbria, and is among the top 10 most dangerous overall out of Cumbrias 287 towns, villages, and cities. The overall crime rate in Barrow-in-Furness in 2020 was 94 crimes per 1,000 people.

Can you drive Barrow?

Tours drive almost all the way, but the last two to three miles is a beach full of soft, sandy sinkholes. Point Barrow is roughly 12 miles north of Utqiaġvik proper. We cant stress this enough: do not attempt to drive all the way to Point Barrow. Once the road ends, driving conditions become extremely hazardous.
