The ability to search by username is one of the great features we offer to our upgraded users. Once youre an upgraded member, a username search bar will appear in your POF app under the username tab, or on the website as one of three search options.

How do you search on POF?

Basic Search Click the light blue POF button at the top left of the window, then select SEARCH. Though pretty much self-explanatory, select SEARCH to get started. On the next screen youll be given multiple options to fine-tooth comb the site for the person you hope to find. It will begin as a “basic search.”

How do you know if you have been blocked on POF?

The easiest way to determine whether youve been blocked by another user on the PlentyofFish site is realizing your inability to send him or her a message. If you are able to find the persons profile in a search, and even view it, but can_not_ send that person a message, he or she has blocked you.
