In August 2017, Tinder removed its Tinder Social feature (also known as “Tinder groups”) from the app. According to a statement from Tinder, the Tinder Social feature didnt “fit cleanly within [Tinders] future direction.”

Why did they change Tinder?

These changes were made to try maintain the popularity of the app in the face of stiffer competition in the dating app industry. Now theyre taking a leaf out of Bumbles book, by introducing a new feature called Ladies First which allows women to make the first move on the dating app.

Does Tinder show you someone again?

Once a user swipes left on Tinder, they will not be seen again. They simply treat new profiles as if theyre a brand new user. If youre trying to avoid someone, its extremely hard to do, as Tinder pulls all profiles from the radius and age range that theyve set.
