Use this option if you know the users Kik username. Type a username in the search field at the top of the screen. When the user youre looking for appears in the list below the search field, tap their username. Tap Start Chatting to send the user a message.

Can you browse people on Kik?

Finding people on Kik just got easier with our latest update! When you tap the Talk To icon in the top right of your chats list, youll see a list of all the people youre chatting with, and can quickly search for your friends. If youre looking for more people to connect with, tap Find People.

Can other Kik users see your name?

No. People youve talked to on Kik can only see your display name, username and profile picture. They cant see your email address, phone number, or birthday :) Unlike other messaging apps, Kik uses your username rather than personal information to connect you with other users.
