What can inmates use money for on JPay?
You can send money to an inmate/offenders commissary/spendable account through the Send Money page. An inmate/offender can then use this money for several different things such as restitution payments. There are several ways to send money to an inmate/offender.
How long does it take for an inmate to get money through JPay?
JPay generally transmits payments within one to two business days, with the exception of lockbox money order payments, which are generally processed within ten business days of receipt of the money order by JPay.
Does JPay show your address?
Information provided by you to open a JPay account, such as your name, address, phone number, and Bank card information are retained in the JPay database. This contains information such as the users IP (Internet Protocol) address, how long that user spent on the site, and which pages of the Web site they visited.
Can u send pictures to inmates?
You are allowed to send personal pictures to an inmate who is incarcerated in a federal prison, but they cant include any sexually explicit material or nudity. There doesnt seem to be a limit on the amount of pictures you can send at one time to an inmate in federal prison. Just remember to keep them tasteful.
Does JPay work on weekends?
Once you have purchased stamps you can send emails to the inmate/offender you want. Your emails will be delivered in one or two business days but never on weekends or holidays. Not all services are available for all facilities.
Can inmates send pictures through JPay?
